One hundred seventy-four student journalists from the Department of Education (DepEd) Toledo City Division have qualified for the 2025 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) on February 24-28 in Siquijor.

The official announcement of winners was made through Division Memorandum No. 080 series of 2025, released on Tuesday, February 11, after winning their respective categories in the elementary and secondary levels during the 2025 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC).

The top five winners will be awarded in a ceremony on February 14 at North City Central School. However, only the top three campus journalists in individual contests and top one in group contests in both English and Filipino categories are qualified in the 2025 RSPC.

All contest categories in this year’s DSPC, which opened Friday, February 7, at the Toledo City Sports Center, was done simultaneously in one day in different contest venues—North City Central School, South City Central School, Luray II National High School, and Toledo National Vocational School—Saturday, February 8.
