With the theme, “Celebrating Excellence, Transcending Boundaries”, DepEd Toledo City recognized the teaching and non-teaching personnel during the 2023 Bulawanong Pagsilak on December 27, 2023, at Toledo City Sports Center, Sangi, Toledo City.

Bulawanong Pagsilak Award is a recognition given to teaching and non-teaching personnel who have made superior accomplishments, meritorious contributions, and innovative ideas in the attainment of the Division’s goals and objectives.

Dr. Joseph Irwin A. Lagura, Toledo Schools Division Superintendent, spearheaded the giving of awards to the personnel for helping shape the young minds of Toledanos through their exemplary performance of their duties and responsibilities.

In a virtual message, Dr. Salustiano Jimenez, Region VII Director also highlighted that the accolades serve as a challenge to be a model of hope, commitment, and resiliency. Further, he reiterated that Toledo City is a prime mover of excellence.

During the ceremony, over 151 employees received recognition in seven (7) award Categories: Silak Program Implementer Award, Silak Teacher Award, Loyal Service Award for Retirees (School Head, Teaching Personnel, Non-teaching Personnel), Career Executive Service Written Examination Passers for CY 2023, PRIME Award, Serbisyo Agad Award, and Flag Raising Ceremony Attendance Award.
