DepEd Toledo City is awarded with Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Maturity Level 2-Bronze Award during the assessment conducted by the Civil Service Commission Region VII on August 7-11, 2023.

The assessment, done on a virtual platform, focused on the four (4) PRIME-HRM systems such as: Recruitment Selection and Placement (RSP), Learning and Development (L & D), Performance Management System (PMS), Rewards and Recognition (R & R).

The Human Resource Records and Management was also validated.

The assessment was attended by the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB), Learning and Development (L&D) Committee, Performance Management Team (PMT) and Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Committee to evaluate the systems, practices and competencies from planning to implementation of the 4 HR systems.

Selected newly-hired and promoted personnel, employees from Learning and Development intervention/ scholarship and awardees were also interviewed for validation of the implementation of the PRIME-HRM systems and HR management of the agency.

The achievement of SDO, Toledo City does not only highlight the individual’s capabilities but also underscores the significance of a well-structured and forward-thinking HRM framework within the civil service.

The success achieved in PRIME HRM Level II of DepEd Toledo City Division is a product of the collaboratove efforts of entire DepEd Toledo City headed by SDS, Dr. Joseph Irwin A. Lagura, OIC-ASDS, Dr. Eduardo A. Ompad and the former Superintendent, Dr. Orlando G. Cadano who started this PRIME-HRM journey.

The Bronze award serves as an inspiration to all public servants to continually strive for excellence and stay abreast of the standards set forth by the Civil Service Commission in PRIME-HRM.
